DREAM DANCE AUCTION (DECEMBER 2006)
Fresh off his amazing Dancing with the Stars victory in December 2006, Emmitt got right to work on making a difference in the lives of children in the Dallas community. Emmitt teamed up with Park Place Maserati to host an event at the Mansion at Turtle Creek. The evening served as an opportunity for Emmitt to introduce Emmitt Smith Charities to an influential group of his friends and allowed him to announce his association with All Stars Helping Kids.
Flanked by his fellow All Stars, Ronnie Lott and Marcus Allen, Emmitt spoke of his quest to provide children with exposure to educational, cultural, and physical enrichment opportunities and to inspire kids to set the bar high with their visions and goals. The night concluded with a live auction for an evening of dinner & dancing with Emmitt and his dancing partner, Cheryl Burke, raising over $100,000 for Emmitt Smith Charities and setting the stage for a big impact in the Dallas community!
